Christmastime is here
On this first day of December it was a surprise delight to see two turtle doves when I was out walking the dogs:) Or maybe they were just regular doves, but still, they made me think of Christmas and that was nice. And then, further down the block, I walked past a truck full of Christmas trees, and just like that, the smell of joy and hope and magic was in the air! Welcome, Christmastime!!

December
(26)
We need to put up our Christmas decorations! And the kids are wearing Christmas sweaters as of yesterday. Gotta get a month's worth out of those things. We got the Toys R Us catalog and Holden literally circled everything. I think I was Eli's age when I found out about you-know-who. I hope he gets a couple more years of believing. I guess if we choose we can always believe :D
ReplyDeleteHaha! Holden...so cute. I remember circling things in the Sears catalogue...it was one of the best days of the year when that thing came! Yep, he's at that age...although, tonight I was watching Santa Claus Is Coming to Town, that old stop motion cartoon, and I realized I still believe in Santa:)
ReplyDeleteOnce December hits I'm cool with the music and decorations and relentless holiday commercials. Hm... well, I'm cool with the music and decorations at least
