Fresh herbs

We planted an herb garden today and there was just something glorious about all of the savory smells mixed with the earthy smells of the rich dirt and the wildflowers blooming nearby. I also planted 3 kinds of lettuce. I can't wait to find new recipes to cook with all of the fresh new tastes growing outside! I don't think I've ever cooked with tarragon. Very exciting:)

  1. We just planted tomatoes and cucumbers, of course not in nifty garden boxes like yours but right in the yard behind the swing set (only place in whole yard that gets full sun), redneck style!

  2. Tarragonna eat some herbs. ZING!

  3. Hilarious. Guess what I started on May 3? Too funny... peppers, rosemary, and thyme...

  4. I love that we can be so in sync half a world away:) I am sure you will put your herbs to much better use than I will mine...I only wish I could be there to taste your culinary creations!

  5. Andy, swing-set tomatoes would be an awesome name for a band;)
