Ole!

Tonight I'm thankful for a new birthday tradition -- eating dessert at a Mexican restaurant (with an actual sparkler in it instead of a lame old candle) while wearing a sombrero the size of Saturn's rings. Made me feel like I was ten years old -- and that was a fun feeling:)

  1. I have a picture of Eli at a Mexican restaurant on his 2nd b-day wearing a sombrero & holding 2 giant beer mugs. No, sparkler though. We got jipped!

  2. Much more charming than the conflagration of my last b-day... click.

Also... goat-gurlz rule! (but why did I think you were a Pisces?)

  3. PS~
You and Ryan ought to have a "compatibility reading" done. It's a blast and a way cool Valentine's Day thingy.

You'll need exact time / place of your births for complete charts and to know the all important "rising sign" -- influences facial features and how we present ourselves to strangers.

Find an astrologer that subscribes to the Carl Payne Toby method -- their math / science approach will appeal to your Capricorn sensibilities. :)

  5. Hilarious photo, VL -- yes, a single sparkler is definitely the way to go as the years take over the entire surface area of the cake! And I agree, I have me pegged as a pisces too, but my mom promises she did not fudge my birth certificate. Turns out I defy categorization -- I like science and the arts equally, hate math and am a writer who can't spell. I am ambitious, but I'm the world's most disorganized person which doesn't help -- I guess I am something of a walking contradiction (as I suspect most people are:)

  6. To Libras, there are no such things as contradictions. Us children of Venus simply consider "I'm this, but I'm that.." as having a balanced soul (scale) :) It is no accident that the country of origin of Yin/Yang (China) is ruled by Libra.

Though there are many in-depth online astrological services available, do yourself a fun-favor by having a reading done by a pro. Betcha they'll find a lot of Piscean influence -- e.g. ascendent and / or ruling planet (Saturn) in Pisces...

Keep in mind: What the stars were up to during the exact time and place of your birth, leaves ya with a natal chart almost as unique as your fingerprint. In other words: there are as many different Capricorns as there are Capricorns.

    FYI...
Astrology is a science-- not a religion or philosophy to "believe in". And speaking of religion, the "wise men" relied heavily upon astrology to help them divine the time and place of Christ's birth.
